The opinions and ideas of our students are very important and influence the choices THUAS makes. Before the summer holidays, a survey was carried out among all students about the future of The Hague University of Applied Sciences. The results of the survey were considered in determining the new course for THUAS for the next five years. 500 students voiced their opinions.
We are happy to share the results of this survey with you.
Quantitative results of the survey
- Students consider the quality of education, guidance from lecturers and focus on student wellbeing to be the most important at a University of Applied Sciences. The students also feel that THUAS can improve the most in these fields and therefore want special attention to be given to guidance by lecturers and student wellbeing.
- Following that, students value equal treatment, facilities and the opportunity to learn in professional practice the most. These are the best scoring aspects in the survey. Students also find provision of information important, and they ask for more attention to be given to this.
- The majority of students feel that The Hague University of Applied Sciences encourages inclusion and professional practice. To a lesser extent, they experience a high standard of education, research and good organisation. They ask for more focus on the latter.
- Flexible education and internships and/or graduation projects also deserve extra attention, according to students.
- Students expect and want hybrid education (online and offline) in the future.
